All just a farce? Low productivity growth in times of greatest digital revolutions

The world is changing at an ever faster pace, people are networking, machines are networking, companies are coming and going. But despite this perceived digital revolution, growth rates are decreasing, and productivity is decreasing. The discrepancy between perceived technological revolution and measured productivity weakness is a challenge for both scientists and politicians alike. A more refined analysis of German data shows that below the surface, there are enough areas with high productivity growth. However, digital transformation is not (yet) able to give the whole economy a big boost.
